100% recommended! I have a 5 yrs old daughter with a lot of energy and this is definitely the best place that I have been taking her so far. Rich and Bryan are way too professional and I love how they interact with the kids. My daughter had a class last Saturday with Ryan and she was amazing as well! Great job guys!

Me and my two friends all go I've been going for 2 years for both karate and kickboxing and my friends over 5 I love Melissa she's a great kickboxing coach and a great person outside the dojo. Master Bryan is an amazing karate coach with great control in sparring and funny as well.
I was here with my granddaughter for her friends birthday party. I would highly recommend you consider this for a party. Master Brian engaged with the kids for the full time...3 hours. From a disciplined class, to pizza party, to game time. Very well done!
New to kickboxing? Start at United Martial Arts Academy ( UMAA )
United Martial Arts Academy ( UMAA ) comes up as a beginner-friendly gym — noted on their own site. If you've never thrown a punch or a kick, that's exactly who a good beginners class is for. A few things worth knowing before your first week. First, you don't need to be fit or coordinated to start — you get in shape by training, not before it, and coaches scale every drill to you. Second, you won't be thrown into hard sparring — reputable gyms build the basics (stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads and bags) first, and any contact eases in gradually under a coach's control. Third, all fitness levels really are welcome — ask about a dedicated beginners or fundamentals class time so your first session is alongside others who are also starting out. Most gyms are happy to let you watch or try a class first, so reach out before you commit.
Your first kickboxing class at United Martial Arts Academy ( UMAA )
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
