From the reviews
Tim's is a great ,friendly environment . My grandson has been going there for 6 weeks and he loves it. Tim is great with teaching the kids and they love him. Tim offers a variety of classes for adults also . Strongly suggest checking his gym out before signing up somewhere else !
TIMS is the best gym I've ever been a member with! When I initially met with Coach Tim about losing a few pounds little did I know how eye opening this journey would be.
My daughter does Jiu Jitsu and I have to say I am so impressed with how good he is with kids. I’ve also just started classes and am so impressed with how encouraging Tim is. He’s always pushing you to be a better you! I would recommend Tim’s MMA to anyone who’s interested in getting fit! There’s something for everyone!
The most fun I’ve had while sweating my butt off!! Coach Tim is the man to help you get results in your workouts and gives you the tools to maintain it! He holds various classes including Kickboxing, strength and conditioning and jiu jitsu for all ages. Give it a go, will not be disappointed!
Your first kickboxing class at T.I.M.S. Fitness & Kickboxing
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
