From the reviews
I could say how Mr. Andre is an excellent martial artist and proficient in multiple styles. I could say how he has a great record as a previously active MMA fighter before mixed martial arts rose to prominence. I could say how he is a tremendous athlete who does not let age dictate his physical prowess.
I used to work out hard in the free weight gym twice a day, for about 10 years, starting in my late teens. I got good results and enjoyed the process, but it was time-consuming - and as a business owner with a family who depend on me, I just don't have the time for that kind of routine these days.
My name is Darryl Cobb Sr. I’m a business owner, heavy equipment operator, railroad derailment service operator, full time father, martial artist , personal security, celebrity bodyguard and have fought as a professional fighter: I started my martial arts journey with “Master Chief “ Jermaine Andre in 2004.
Jermaine is a top-level instructor. I have trained there in the past and made great progress. Even today, I feel very confident in my ability to protect myself and my family.
Your first kickboxing class at JAMMA Jermaine Andre Mixed Martial Arts
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
