From the reviews
Honestly cannot say enough great things about this place. The owner is simply the best and all of the trainers/instructors are fantastic! They are great at keeping an eye on everyone and giving tips, as well as correcting form. They take their time with everyone and are extremely friendly.
I had always wanted to try a boxing class and in late 2020, my husband and I found Elite and attended a class to see how we’d like it. We had so much fun that we ended up signing up for a membership that night. Fast forward 4 years later and Elite staff and members have become like a family.
Elite boxing is my go-to gym and I’ve been training there since 2021. I’ve had individual sessions with Mike Cusato and he does a great job with sparring and mitts! Tracey does the morning workouts and does a great job alternating between circuit training and boxing workouts.
I love this place! Been coming here for 5 years and I’m hooked. Trainers are wonderful and they offer a wide variety of classes, so there is something for everyone. Members and staff are so welcoming to any and all newcomers so I felt right at home from the minute I first walked in and gave it a try.
Your first kickboxing class at Elite Boxing & Fitness
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
