The classes they run
“I started training here a year ago thinking it'd be a more interesting way to get a little cardio than a treadmill and to scope the place out for my daughters for someday.”
“My son started and after I attended a few open mats I decided to make a change too since it was closer to my house and the trainig and people were great.”
“As an avid competitor, I feel well prepared for my tournaments with more confidence in my technique than I ever have training with other gyms.”
“Also, despite having a large class, my kid does get one on one instrucion because they have students in higher up belts assinting with coaching the little ones.”
“My daughter, 14, has grown to be a young teen who carries herself with respect for others and confidence.”

From the reviews
My daughter Vanessa loves ZMATA !! She is enjoying every class and she made a lot of friends! The discipline and life lessons they are learning are life changing! Thank you ZMATA for the safe awesome and wonderful environment!
I started coming to ZMATA around 2-3 years ago, and it's been great. They've got a great kids wrestling and judo program, which is always lively and well-attended, with multiple coaches and upper belts on the mats.
I met my good friend Paul back in 2018, and over the years, he encouraged me to start training. After a lot of convincing, I finally gave in and began training Jiu Jitsu in 2020. Growing up in Vietnam, I always wanted to learn martial arts but couldn’t afford it, so this was a dream come true for me.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Z Mata Grappling Gym is an extraordinary place for both kids and adults! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that truly feels like family.
Your first kickboxing class at Z Martial Arts Training Academy
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
