From the reviews

This place is great for beginners and all skill levels. The trainers know what they’re talking about and I underestimated how much cardio would be involved. The best part was the customer service, especially by Harry. He puts members first and makes sure you have a good experience.

LOVE this place- especially the trainers! They're all super friendly but when it comes to the workouts, they're tough as nails and know precisely what they're doing. The music is awesome and I absolutely love the energy in this place! The trainers (somehow) find a way to make it all fun.

I'm a novice when it comes to working out. The new staff at Title made me feel welcomed and helped me along the way. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good work out. Tori was a fantastic instructor and kept the class motivated and moving. I will surely be back once I can feel my arms again. 5 Stars!

★★★★★ — Ben, Dec 2017

I liked how each workout was unique yet had some familiarity to the patterns, so I could feel myself get better each time while being challenged. All of the coaches were very nice and empowering. The music was great too. After some years of Covid at home workouts, going to a class felt great.

New to kickboxing? Start at Title Boxing Club Powell

Title Boxing Club Powell comes up as a beginner-friendly gym — noted on their own site. If you've never thrown a punch or a kick, that's exactly who a good beginners class is for. A few things worth knowing before your first week. First, you don't need to be fit or coordinated to start — you get in shape by training, not before it, and coaches scale every drill to you. Second, you won't be thrown into hard sparring — reputable gyms build the basics (stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads and bags) first, and any contact eases in gradually under a coach's control. Third, all fitness levels really are welcome — ask about a dedicated beginners or fundamentals class time so your first session is alongside others who are also starting out. Most gyms are happy to let you watch or try a class first, so reach out before you commit.

Your first kickboxing class at Title Boxing Club Powell

Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.

Kickboxing is a contact sport. Warm up, pace yourself, listen to your coaches, and if you have any injuries or health concerns, mention them before class and check with a doctor if you're unsure.
