From the reviews
Coach K. is an impeccable athletic trainer. Plain and simple– it’s rigorous training. He will push you to overcome your limits and motivate you to always become a better version of yourself tomorrow. Change cannot happen unless you really put the effort into changing.
I highly recommend Coach K to any athlete who is serious about getting stronger, faster, and better at their sport. Coach K comes prepared to each session with a plan customized to my level and goals. And it is never the same workout twice – having many variations keeps each work out interesting and stimulating.
We feel so fortunate to have had Coach K train our kids! His private sessions were meticulously planned and customized to meet their needs. His deep understanding of volleyball allowed him to focus on specific areas that truly helped our athletes improve.
We came to Coach K after he was highly recommended for volleyball strength training. My daughter has been working with Coach K for a little over 2 months and she’s happy with the results she’s seeing on the vball court, so far.
Your first kickboxing class at FitFusion Athlete (FKA Powerhouse Kickboxing & Fitness) @ Cross Garage Gym
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
