From the reviews
I've been training boxing and general fitness with Dino since 2018. He's a world-class boxing and martial arts coach, and he brings that same elite mindset to personal training. Every session is sharp, purposeful, and pushes you to get better.
5 years under Dino, and I can say without hesitation he operates at a different level. He helped shape me into a stronger fighter, a more disciplined man, and a better competitor in every sense. I gained muscle, lost fat, got stronger, trained harder, and learned what real elite standards look like.
For my 60th birthday, my wife bought me a package of 10 training sessions with Dino. I have been going twice a week for the past 17 years and am in remarkable shape both mentally and physically. Dino mixes it up with boxing, self defense, strength training and cardio.
Now that’s a great complete workout ! Full cardio & muscle training in 45 minutes no time wasted . Dino has a great approach of working both the muscles & your brain . If you’re looking for a total body workout, Dino is one of the best that I’ve train with . Hope to see everyone soon at the 5th st community!
New to kickboxing? Start at Dino Spencer Elite Training
Dino Spencer Elite Training comes up as a beginner-friendly gym — noted on their own site. If you've never thrown a punch or a kick, that's exactly who a good beginners class is for. A few things worth knowing before your first week. First, you don't need to be fit or coordinated to start — you get in shape by training, not before it, and coaches scale every drill to you. Second, you won't be thrown into hard sparring — reputable gyms build the basics (stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads and bags) first, and any contact eases in gradually under a coach's control. Third, all fitness levels really are welcome — ask about a dedicated beginners or fundamentals class time so your first session is alongside others who are also starting out. Most gyms are happy to let you watch or try a class first, so reach out before you commit.
Your first kickboxing class at Dino Spencer Elite Training
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
