From the reviews
Before joining Combat Cardio KC, I was stuck in a fitness rut and struggling to see real results. The biggest barrier for me was finding a workout that fit my busy schedule and didn't feel boring. Combat Cardio KC changed everything. The 'no class times' structure is a game-changer.
This is definitely the funnest form of cardio you'll ever experience! My fiance and I have been frequent attendees since the Grand openin at the beginning of this month. Mitchell is an incredible coach who will push you to your limits while keeping you motivated and engaged throughout the entire workout.
I walked into the building not knowing what it was or what i could be. Being able to train under both Mitch and Tiana has been a dream come true for me. They won't just kick your butt in training either. They will give you a whole grocery shopping list full of foods in order to build your body the correct way.
Fantastic gym experience! I was at another gym stuck in a rut for 2 years with minimal progress towards my goals. I joined up with Combat Cardio KC and within 1 month of training I feel better, lost weight, have better posture, and am really enjoying the workout.
Your first kickboxing class at Combat Cardio KC
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
