From the reviews
I’ve been a member of UFC Gym in White Plains for the past four years, and it’s been an incredible experience. After the pandemic, I was looking for a gym to help me get back into shape, and I found the perfect place. I quickly fell in love with the classes, especially boxing, DUT, and circuit training.
Just started coming here, after more than half a lifetime in the local martial arts scene. A lady named Ashley greeted me at the front and was so nice! We did the whole waiver routine, then she gave me a tour and answered all my questions - I honestly ask really specific questions about cleaning and she had answers…
I come by occasionally to train with coach ken. Whether you're goal is to be a professional fighter or just getting in shape he's very knowledgeable in both martial arts and the typical strength and conditioning,Now for the gym its very well maintained and clean which if you dont know is very important!
I've been going for almost a month now and needless to say I finally found a gym where I feel comfortable and confident to able to work out. I took really great classes with Coach Paul C, I definitely recommend him, he really pushes you out of your comfort zone!
Your first kickboxing class at Broadway MMA
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
