From the reviews
Great instructors that really understand people's needs and how to get the most out of them. Very friendly and welcoming environment for people of all ages and skill levels.
I found Tracy's while googling self defense classes for my daughter and me one day. She's been going thru some stuff, so I decided to enroll both of us. Not only for a bonding experience, which we are thick as theives, but for her to be able to defend herself.
If I could give more stars I would! Tracy’s is a highly established martial arts training school offering legitimately effective self defense for any situation possible. My family has been going for years. The instructors are patient and attentive to the students needs.
Learning karate had always been a lifelong dream of mine, but as I got older and money got tighter, it felt out of reach. I at least wanted my kids to have the chance to learn self-defense. Then we found Tracy’s Family Plan—and it truly changed our lives. Now, we're all learning karate together as a family. Mr.
Your first kickboxing class at Tracy's Karate & Mixed Martial Arts Studios of Vacaville
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
