From the reviews
I’ve been training here since the beginning and it’s be a true life changing experience, this place brings all the positivity and happiness you could ever want and brings it together to make you enjoy your time there.
My child has been attending for almost half a year. Every location I’ve been to is the same outcome. The instructors are so patient, compassionate and motivational to kids. I’ve never had an issue. They are all awesome. My kid LOVES it!
My son has been taking classes here for a few months and he really enjoys it! They teach them valuable skills for on and off the mat! 👍👍
My family has been a part of the Al Garza Premier Martial Arts community for 4 years. The positive effects of being here are tremendous. My twin boys are confident, physically active & healthy, compassionate, and constantly growing because of AGPMA’s influence. They have learned about hard work & goal setting.
New to kickboxing? Start at Premier Martial Arts Pearland
Premier Martial Arts Pearland comes up as a beginner-friendly gym — noted on their own site. If you've never thrown a punch or a kick, that's exactly who a good beginners class is for. A few things worth knowing before your first week. First, you don't need to be fit or coordinated to start — you get in shape by training, not before it, and coaches scale every drill to you. Second, you won't be thrown into hard sparring — reputable gyms build the basics (stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads and bags) first, and any contact eases in gradually under a coach's control. Third, all fitness levels really are welcome — ask about a dedicated beginners or fundamentals class time so your first session is alongside others who are also starting out. Most gyms are happy to let you watch or try a class first, so reach out before you commit.
Your first kickboxing class at Premier Martial Arts Pearland
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
