From the reviews
We are so proud of our daughter’s progress after being a member of the PMA Addison team for the last year. Her growth, focus and dedication to her martial arts practice is stronger because of the caring instructors.

Premier Marshal Arts(PMA)offers dynamic and transformative experiences for students. It delivers exceptional values for anyone committed to personal growth. I have seen the changes in my son. Their patience with younger learners making PMA ideal for families.
Premier has been so great. I’ve had one child here for a year and the other two just started. They look forward to coming every week which is not always the case with other activities! The coaches are kind and also consistent and strong with the kids. The space is clean and bright.
New to kickboxing? Start at Premier Martial Arts Addison
Premier Martial Arts Addison comes up as a beginner-friendly gym — noted on their own site. If you've never thrown a punch or a kick, that's exactly who a good beginners class is for. A few things worth knowing before your first week. First, you don't need to be fit or coordinated to start — you get in shape by training, not before it, and coaches scale every drill to you. Second, you won't be thrown into hard sparring — reputable gyms build the basics (stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads and bags) first, and any contact eases in gradually under a coach's control. Third, all fitness levels really are welcome — ask about a dedicated beginners or fundamentals class time so your first session is alongside others who are also starting out. Most gyms are happy to let you watch or try a class first, so reach out before you commit.
Your first kickboxing class at Premier Martial Arts Addison
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
