From the reviews
We absolutely love this gym and especially the daycare/childcare! We come as a family, and it’s become part of our routine. My wife trains, my son (6) does the kids’ kickboxing class (which has been the BEST for him—confidence, discipline, and a great energy outlet), our daughter (3) happily goes to childcare, and I…
I came into the gym because I was defeated in myself. I could not comfortably bend over to tie my shoes. I was nervous because I did not know what to expect or if I could do it. The day I signes up I did my first class. Not gonna lie, it was hard and I was sore for a week. The next class was less painful. And so on.
The childcare here is truly the best—safe, clean, and the staff is so well-trained, patient, and attentive. My 3-year-old loves it and my kids are genuinely happy and excited to go every time, which makes it so easy for us to focus on our workouts.
I'm absolutely thrilled to share my outstanding experience with this gym, my cherished second home. From the moment I step inside, I feel welcomed by its warm and inviting atmosphere. The cleanliness and organization are impeccable. They have exceptional personal trainers who have guided me on my fitness journey.
Your first kickboxing class at Iron Forged Fitness
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
