From the reviews
My son has been at this Taekwondo school for several years now (4 I think) he came before he was a black belt I do believe he was a red belt (id have to look it up to be sure) and now he's a 2nd Degree Senior black belt testing for 3rd degree in March ! (Next month) and this school is like his second home !
We signed our son up for the two free trail classes and immediately knew this was something we wanted him to be a part of by the end of the first class. Not only is it good for his physical health but for his self confidence as well.
I can’t say enough great things about Smith's Martial Arts! They are truly family-oriented and genuinely care about each and every student. My daughter looks forward to attending class every week, and it's been amazing to see her excitement grow.
We've been with Smith's Martial Arts for just over a year now . My little one absolutely loves it and we do also . There has been so much change in her attitude and behavior since joining . The instructors are amazing with the kids and even with as many kids as they have they know them on a personal level and by name .
Your first kickboxing class at Smith's Martial Arts & Fitness
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
