From the reviews
I wish I could give Na Martial Arts more than 5 stars! As an active 30 year old female I was looking for an activity that would challenge me physically and mentally, as well as build flexibility, core strength and stamina. This place is the perfect fit! Master Na is an incredible teacher and martial artist.
My two boys started in June and I have witnessed improvement in their self-esteem, motivation, respect for others and they’re more focused. Their instructors provide clear instructions while incorporating fun activities during every lesson.
My son has been learning martial arts at Na after coming from another school and it has been such an amazing experience for him. He is very enthusiastic about going to classes and has really picked up the concepts.
We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Na Martial. ! My daughter has been training here for about a year and a half, and the growth we’ve seen in her has been incredible. She has developed not only strong physical skills, but more importantly life skills—respect, confidence, self-discipline, and especially focus.
Your first kickboxing class at Na Martial Arts
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
