“I got one of the best workouts ever in his kickboxing class.”

“My son actually begs me to leave him there until the last possible moment everyday.”
“We home school our children, (even pre pandemic) so getting our son to socialize and learn to focus on instruction from Sense Kevin was a big win for our family.”
From the reviews
I love the energy and the opportunity to take various classes until I find the one or more that I want to master. Sensei (Kevin) is a great teacher! I got one of the best workouts ever in his kickboxing class.
Excellent place to see your child grow. Master Bergquist has taught my son Mason since he was 4 years old, (now 10). His skills as an instructor, mentor, and friend are second to none. The skills and humility of his students are a great gift to society.
My son has been going to Dojo for two weeks now. We love it! Before the first week was even over, he was saying yes sir, yes ma'am, and excuse me! He is wanting to attend even on days he is able to stay home because one of us is off of work. I would highly recommend this for every child!
My son has been a student here for four years and it has become his second home. Master Bergquist is an amazing instructor and works incredibly well with all of the kids. Not only has my son moved up in belt and skill level, he has grown in maturity, discipline and respect.
Your first kickboxing class at Kaizen Dojo Martial Arts
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
