From the reviews
"As someone who's trained at multiple gyms over 8 years, I can confidently say Dangelo MMA is the real deal. From day one, I felt welcomed by the friendly yet focused community. Coach Augie and Professor Mansur have been practicing for decades - it really shows in their expert instruction.
Amazing place to learn how defend and keep your self active. Coach gus and his brother and father are amazing coaches. You can tell they have been doing this for years. I love the training and fitness you learn something new every day.
Me and one of my sons started at D'Angelo MMA a few months ago. Now me and two of my sons go. Coach Gus is THE MAN. He is great to learn from as an adult not to mention he is wonderful with the kids! The classes are well disciplined but really fun. Class is also a spectacular workout!
An outstanding gym with a very accomplished and exceptional coach. I would recommend this gym to anyone whether you are looking to get back into shape or trying to improve on the skills you already have this gym includes a very diverse schedule and team.
Your first kickboxing class at D’Angelo MMA
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
