From the reviews
My son has been going to Cage Combat for 2 years this December. It was one of the best decisions we made. He loves going and learning new moves. Cage combat offers a variety of different classes for all age groups. The coaches are amazing and my son really looks up to all of them.
I started 3 years ago, and let me tell you, BEST gym in the HD!!! When i first started at CCA everyone was very welcoming and very kind and professional, The owners Coach Alex and Rosalie reyes, have shown me and others nothing but kindness, love, support, and respect!
At Cage Combat Academy you’re welcomed into a family-oriented atmosphere. Coach Alex and Rosalie have created a space where you feel at home. The coaches are friendly and approachable, helping to create a positive environment where you feel comfortable, even if you’re just visiting.
I feel obligated to share my positive experience with CCA after seeing unfair reviews from two previous members. From involvement with both parents these claims are sad and very dishonest..
Your first kickboxing class at Cage Combat Academy
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
