From the reviews
My 4 year old boy started training about a year ago in this Martial Arts school, my primary goal for him was to get more confidence and he definitely is a confident boy and he will continue to be the best with the guidance of the qualified instructors who teach in a healthy way discipline, responsibility and overall…
This place is great! The instructors are very good teaching my kid to get empowered, get over frustration, control himself, listen and follow commands, discipline and all this with fun through play!
I am so excited to have finally found the right martial arts school for my son Sebastian. He has been learning amazing self defense skills as well as a combination of different styles from Karate to Kickboxing. More importantly as a mom, I have witnessed the positive change in his behaviour at home and school.
I really liked the professors and the way they treat my daughter. The patience, the dedication. My daughter will be 5 in a few days so trust me when I say this: kids are not easy, but somehow they look like they can handle it. They taught her so many things and they made her improve each day she assists to class.
Your first kickboxing class at Premier Martial Arts (7885 NW 107th Ave, Doral)
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
