“If you're looking for a reliable and practical system of self-defense, I highly recommend this school!”
From the reviews
I definitely recommend this school! I started after a scary situation this past summer that left me feeling helpless to protect my self and my kids. Never wanting to feel that way again my husband encouraged me to come to class and learn. The skills that Sensei Eric imparts are powerful and practical.
I have been training at this school for over two years now, and I have my junior high-aged son enrolled as well. Sensei Eric's teachings and techniques are very straightforward, well-grounded, and proven, and are applicable to almost any age or fitness level. There's no fluff and belts are earned, not given.
Although I am currently not training, I did under the guidance of Sensei Eric Tollett for a little shy of a year. Not only did I find integrity, discipline, and skills I need to successfully defend myself, I found a second family within the class. As soon as I can I will be back without hesitation to train.
Having a teacher that can teach and has a resume that shows he’s been there as a bouncer, security and in the competitive environment, is a rare find. Knowing that Sensei Eric won’t teach any useless technique for technique sake, but has actually used what you are learning is what makes this school a must for any…
Your first kickboxing class at Integrity Kombative Arts
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
