From the reviews
I have 10+ years of experience training in the martial arts, so I was highly selective when I started looking at schools for my children. Several of my patients recommended Dragon's Den to me, and I was struck by how they were all so humble, respectful, and grounded.
My wife and I have been attending Kajukenbo classes for over three months and I have attended at least three martial arts school before over 4 years, and I have to say Dragon's Den is the best school thus far. The facilities are always clean and well maintained. The staff are always friendly.
Best place to train for the whole family!!! The gym is clean, everyone there is very nice. It feels like family there. The instructors and coaches know their craft well and also know how to teach people of all ages and backgrounds.
It's an Honor for both of my children to be training at Dragons Den MMA. It truly helps , keeps my kids focused, and motivated to protect themselves. It's fun and my kids love it! It's nice to see how the instructors are so passionate and involved with all the children.
Your first kickboxing class at Dragon's Den Kajukenbo Club
Nervous about walking into a kickboxing gym for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good coaches expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, then drilling the basics — stance, footwork, and punches and kicks on pads or a heavy bag — not hard sparring. Go at your own pace and rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: comfortable athletic clothes you can move and sweat in, and supportive trainers. What to bring: water, and hand wraps and gloves if you have them — many gyms lend loaner gloves for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own gloves and wraps (and shin guards once you start sparring). Sparring is optional and eases in gradually, once your basics are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the coach. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
